Role Overview

We are looking for a talented 2D Freelance Designer to create detailed, high-quality design drawings and visual concepts for carved furniture and interior elements. The role requires a strong sense of aesthetics, detailing, and the ability to translate creative ideas into precise 2D representations for production and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D design drawings for furniture (beds, sofas, tables, panels, etc.)
• Develop carving patterns, motifs, and ornamental detailing aligned with luxury aesthetics
• Convert references, sketches, and concepts into production-ready 2D designs
• Work closely with the design and manufacturing team to ensure feasibility
• Revise and iterate designs based on feedback
• Maintain consistency with brand style and design language

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D design for furniture, interiors, or product design
• Strong proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar
• Understanding of wood carving patterns, detailing, and proportions (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and design sensibility
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Good to Have

• Experience in luxury furniture or handcrafted product design
• Knowledge of traditional carving styles (Indian, European, etc.)
• Basic understanding of 3D design (not mandatory but beneficial)

• Detailed 2D technical drawings
• Pattern and carving sheets
• Design revisions as required
