We are looking for a 2D Draftsman with strong technical expertise to prepare detailed interior drawings and support the design and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawings
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings, layouts, and detailed working drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and furniture layouts
Execution Drawings
- Create detailed drawings for carpentry, electrical, ceiling, flooring, and joinery
- Ensure drawings are aligned with design concepts and site requirements
Coordination
- Work closely with interior designers, architects, and project managers
- Update drawings based on site feedback and design revisions
Documentation
- Maintain organised drawing sets and documentation for projects
- Ensure drawings follow industry standards and execution accuracy
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Drafting
- 4+ years of experience as a 2D draftsman in an interior design or architecture firm
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Good understanding of interior detailing and construction drawings
- Knowledge of modular furniture, carpentry, and interior execution drawings
- Ability to work with designers and site teams to deliver accurate drawings
