Job purpose

The Accounts & Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate day-to-day accounts and producing reliable financial information for management across the Satwik Group.

This is not a data-entry accountant position.

The person must understand:

Where did the money come from, where did it go, what do we own, what do we owe, and why does the P&L look the way it does

2. Monthly closing

Prepare:

* Trial balance

* P&L

* Balance Sheet

* Ledgers

* Outstanding reports

6. GST

The Accounts Manager is responsible for operational GST reconciliation and documentation.

The CA remains responsible for statutory filing/advisory.

The Accounts Manager must ensure:

are internally consistent.

7. Inventory & manufacturing accounting

For manufacturing entities:

* Raw material

* WIP

* Finished goods

* Production entries

* Consumption

* Stock registers

* Material reconciliation

* Production vs sales

* Closing inventory

The Accounts Manager should work with factory personnel to ensure production records reach accounts.

9. Inter-company accounting

Maintain:

* Company-to-company loans

* Advances

* Purchases/sales between group entities

* Director loans

* Partner/proprietor accounts

* Interest where applicable

* Settlement tracking

Every balance must have a counterparty and explanation.

Strong Excel skills are mandatory.

Candidate should be comfortable with:

* Working-capital analysis

They should be able to independently audit an Excel-based quotation for mathematical and commercial errors.
