Role Summary

iDream Education is looking for a driven, detail-oriented person for the position of Senior Executive – Leads & Inside Sales to own and drive the full inside sales funnel for iPrep's Single Licenses and online subscriptions. This role is central to iDream's mission of making learning accessible to every parent, student, and small school, in partnership with the Growth - Sales team and the reporting manager.

The team member will take end-to-end ownership of incoming leads and inside sales, managing the complete journey from the first response to lead qualification, follow-up, pitching, conversion, and payment confirmation. The role will be responsible for timely lead response, consistent follow-ups, strong pipeline management, and conversion of qualified leads into revenue. The role also requires close cross-functional collaboration with CRM and reporting systems and the channels that generate leads.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Incoming Lead Management & Conversion
End-to-End Lead Ownership: Take complete ownership of all incoming leads received — from first response and qualification through follow-up, pitching, conversion, and payment confirmation.
Inbound Lead Response: Respond to incoming leads promptly, understand their requirements, and ensure that relevant enquiries are appropriately captured and followed up.
CRM Logging: Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead information in the CRM, including lead source, query type, qualification status, and next steps.
Follow-Up Ownership: Manage follow-ups effectively throughout the sales journey and ensure that active leads continue to move through the funnel.
Funnel Reporting: Track and report on the lead funnel, including new, active, converted, and dropped leads, along with key reasons and conversion trends.
Inside Sales & Subscription Revenue
End-to-End Sales Ownership: Own the complete inside sales cycle for Single License and online iPrep subscription sales, including qualification, need assessment, product pitching, objection handling, follow-ups, negotiation where applicable, and payment confirmation.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and actively work towards achieving revenue targets.
Proposal Turnaround: Prepare and share relevant proposals or payment links with qualified leads in a timely manner.
Revenue Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, including units sold, revenue by product type, and conversion rates.
Outbound Outreach & Pipeline Building
Pipeline Support: Support pipeline growth through targeted outbound outreach to parents, students, schools, and coaching centres for relevant iPrep products, while maintaining clear CRM tracking.
Targeted Outreach: Identify and reach out to relevant prospects who may have a need for iPrep's Single Licenses and online subscriptions, building additional opportunities beyond incoming leads.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve lead response, follow-up, qualification, and conversion approaches and share recommendations with the team.
Conversion Tracking: Monitor the effectiveness of outbound outreach and contribute to improving outbound conversion.
CRM Hygiene & Reporting
Real-Time Data Management: Keep CRM records accurate and updated across lead interactions, stage changes, follow-ups, and conversions.
Pipeline Visibility: Maintain clear visibility of active leads, upcoming follow-ups, and opportunities in the closing stage.
Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports covering lead generation, outbound activity, funnel movement, and revenue performance.
Traceability: Ensure that all sales and relevant customer interactions are accurately recorded in the CRM.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate in any discipline; a background in business, marketing, or communications is a plus. A strong track record in inside sales or telesales can substitute for a specific degree.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, lead management, or lead conversion, with demonstrated ownership of an inbound sales funnel and responsibility for conversion and revenue targets.
Industry Preference: Experience in the EdTech industry is preferred, particularly experience selling education products, digital learning solutions, subscriptions, or similar products.
Other Requirements: Comfortable with high-volume sales conversations, follow-ups, and fast-paced inside sales environments. This is a largely office/remote-based selling role with no significant travel expected. The work location will be Gurugram, Haryana.
Key Skills & Competencies
Inside sales & consultative selling — needs-based questioning, objection handling, and value-based closing for price-sensitive parents and small schools.
CRM proficiency & lead funnel analytics — comfort with CRM configuration, stage management, and reading funnel/revenue reports.
Digital product positioning — pitching iPrep's online subscriptions and Single Licenses differently for parents/students (B2C) versus small schools and coaching centres (B2B2C).
Communication — clear, persuasive written and verbal communication in English and Hindi (a regional language is a plus), suited to fast-moving sales conversations.
Collaboration — works closely with the reporting manager and marketing/lead-generation channels to keep the pipeline and targets aligned.
