Job Summary

The Relationship Manager - Secured Direct will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-value clients, focusing on secured lending products. This role involves identifying client needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of secured direct clients, understanding their financial objectives and risk appetites.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and generate leads for secured lending products (e.g., mortgages, loans against property, business loans).
Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for client applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Structure and negotiate secured lending deals, presenting compelling proposals to clients and securing approvals.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and resolving any queries or issues promptly and efficiently.
Monitor portfolio performance, identify potential risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client transactions.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the secured lending landscape.
Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance, sales activities, and client feedback to senior management.
Participate in client events and networking opportunities to strengthen relationships and enhance brand visibility.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management, with a strong focus on secured lending products.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
In-depth knowledge of secured lending products, credit analysis, and risk assessment principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in financial software and CRM systems.
