Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of hands-on experience in manual and/or automated testing, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of software development life cycles. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
Execute test cases and report test results with clear documentation
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups (Agile/Scrum)
Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar
Validate UI/UX, workflows, and data integrity
Contribute to automation testing (if applicable)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation)
Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, REST APIs)
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Mobile application testing experience (iOS/Android)
Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
