Job purpose

Use scientific expertise to develop high-quality, publication-ready scientific documents (manuscripts, posters, abstracts, presentations, brochures, infographics, e-modules, videos, etc.)

Duties and responsibilities

Proficient in conducting thorough literature search to gather information on medical diseases/topics/treatments.
Draft and edit scientific content by following appropriate guidelines and standards.
Ensure information/data is presented in a clear, complete, accurate and concise manner.
Basic understanding of statistics.
Organize and maintain document repositories, ensuring version control and proper documentation of changes.
Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements, address feedback, and meet project deadlines.
Stay updated on advancements in medical research, writing techniques, and industry best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Uphold ethical standards in medical writing, including confidentiality, integrity, and avoidance of plagiarism.
Excellent written and spoken English with reasonable creative writing skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS word, excel and PowerPoint.

Experience

At least 2 to 6 years of medical writing experience, preferably within a medical communication agency writing environment.
Fresher's can also apply.

Qualifications

UG: MBBS/BDS/B Pharm.

PG: MD/MDS/ M Pharm/ Pharm D/PhD in Medical field.
