Role Overview

We are looking for a highly curious and innovation-driven Patent & Innovation Officer who can help identify, structure, protect, and scale innovative ideas, systems, products, and processes across the organization.

The role involves working closely with the founder and cross-functional teams to drive research, innovation mapping, intellectual property planning, documentation, and future-focused solution development in healthcare and wellness domains.

Key Responsibilities

Identify innovative opportunities across wellness, healthcare, technology, operations, and user engagement systems.
Conduct research on existing patents, innovations, competitors, and market gaps.
Support patent documentation, drafting coordination, innovation filing processes, and IP strategy development.
Work with product, technology, healthcare, and operations teams to structure scalable and protectable innovations.
Build internal innovation frameworks and documentation systems.
Analyze emerging trends in preventive healthcare, AI, wellness technology, IoT, behavioral analytics, and digital health ecosystems.
Contribute to future product concepts, proprietary systems, and differentiators for HiWox.
Maintain innovation records, idea pipelines, and research repositories.

Requirements

Background in Healthcare, Biotechnology, Engineering, Innovation Management, Research, Law, Technology, or related domains.
Strong research and analytical thinking ability.
Understanding of patents, intellectual property, innovation systems, or research documentation is preferred.
Ability to work in a startup environment with ownership and experimentation mindset.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Interest in future-focused healthcare and wellness innovation ecosystems.
