About The Opportunity

A clinical role in the private healthcare sector delivering inpatient, emergency and acute-care services across multi-specialty hospital settings in India. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality patient triage, stabilisation and routine ward management while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and hospital standards.

Role & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, clinical examination, and pre-operative risk assessment.
Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including treatment planning, wound care, and follow-up.
Monitor patient progress and ensure timely intervention in case of complications.
Handle emergency surgical cases and participate in trauma and critical care management as required.
Collaborate effectively with anaesthesia, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and surgical documentation in line with hospital protocols.
Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and NABH guidelines.

Must-Have (Qualifications)

MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) / National Medical Commission (NMC).
Demonstrated clinical experience in general surgery, including exposure to OT, inpatient care, and emergency surgical management.
Ability to manage elective and emergency surgical cases with sound clinical judgment.
Willingness to work on-site in rotational shifts, including emergency on-call responsibilities.
