About The Opportunity
A clinical role in the private healthcare sector delivering inpatient, emergency and acute-care services across multi-specialty hospital settings in India. The position focuses on ensuring high-quality patient triage, stabilisation and routine ward management while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and hospital standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, clinical examination, and pre-operative risk assessment.
- Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, including treatment planning, wound care, and follow-up.
- Monitor patient progress and ensure timely intervention in case of complications.
- Handle emergency surgical cases and participate in trauma and critical care management as required.
- Collaborate effectively with anaesthesia, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and surgical documentation in line with hospital protocols.
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and recovery expectations.
- Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and NABH guidelines.
Must-Have (Qualifications)
- MBBS with MS/DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Karnataka Medical Council (KMC) / National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in general surgery, including exposure to OT, inpatient care, and emergency surgical management.
- Ability to manage elective and emergency surgical cases with sound clinical judgment.
- Willingness to work on-site in rotational shifts, including emergency on-call responsibilities.
