Role Overview

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, compliance, and performance management. The role requires a hands-on professional who can balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day HR activities.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Onboarding
Handle end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviews, selection)
Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
Manage joining formalities and induction programs
Employee Engagement Relations
Address employee queries and grievances
Conduct engagement activities and retention initiatives
Maintain a healthy workplace culture
Attendance Payroll Coordination
Monitor attendance, leaves, and overtime
Coordinate with accounts for payroll processing
Ensure accuracy in salary inputs and deductions
HR Operations Documentation
Maintain employee records and HR MIS
Issue letters (Offer, Appointment, Confirmation, etc.)
Implement HR policies and procedures
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Laws
Maintain records for audits and inspections
Coordinate with consultants/agencies if required
Performance Management
Assist in KRA/KPI setting and performance reviews
Track employee performance and development plans

Key Skills Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
Good in MS Excel and HR software
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
High level of confidentiality and integrity

Qualification Experience

MBA / PGDM in HR
2 to 5 years of experience in HR Generalist role

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in SME / Logistics / Manufacturing sector (preferred)
Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities

Salary Range

25,000 50,000 per month (based on experience)
