Role Overview
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, compliance, and performance management. The role requires a hands-on professional who can balance strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Onboarding
- Handle end-to-end recruitment (sourcing, screening, interviews, selection)
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning
- Manage joining formalities and induction programs
- Employee Engagement Relations
- Address employee queries and grievances
- Conduct engagement activities and retention initiatives
- Maintain a healthy workplace culture
- Attendance Payroll Coordination
- Monitor attendance, leaves, and overtime
- Coordinate with accounts for payroll processing
- Ensure accuracy in salary inputs and deductions
- HR Operations Documentation
- Maintain employee records and HR MIS
- Issue letters (Offer, Appointment, Confirmation, etc.)
- Implement HR policies and procedures
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Laws
- Maintain records for audits and inspections
- Coordinate with consultants/agencies if required
- Performance Management
- Assist in KRA/KPI setting and performance reviews
- Track employee performance and development plans
Key Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance
- Good in MS Excel and HR software
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
Qualification Experience
- MBA / PGDM in HR
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HR Generalist role
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in SME / Logistics / Manufacturing sector (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
Salary Range
25,000 50,000 per month (based on experience)
Location : Shivapur Pune
