Role: Project Coordinator – Language Services

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Coordinator who understands language services (translation, transcription, annotation, localization) and can support execution of multilingual data collection projects.

You will work closely with Project Managers to coordinate linguists, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

Support execution of multilingual data collection projects
Coordinate with translators, annotators, and language vendors
Track daily progress and ensure timelines are met

Language Operations

Manage tasks like transcription, translation, validation, and annotation
Ensure language quality guidelines are followed
Handle multiple languages and region-specific requirements

Vendor & Team Coordination

Onboard and manage freelancers / language experts
Assign tasks and monitor output quality
Follow up consistently for delivery

Quality & Reporting

Perform basic QA checks on language data
Maintain trackers, reports, and daily updates
Highlight risks or delays to Project Managers

Process Support

Follow SOPs and help improve workflows
Ensure proper documentation and file management

Requirements

1–3 years experience in language services / localization / data operations
Understanding of translation, transcription, or annotation workflows
Experience working with freelancers or language vendors
Strong coordination and follow-up skills
Good communication skills

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of multiple Indian languages is a strong plus
Familiarity with tools like Excel / Google Sheets
Exposure to AI/ML data collection projects
