Role Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can translate ideas into distinctive textile concepts, blending modern aesthetics with rural craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Develop original textile designs for rugs and related product lines
Research trends, materials, color palettes, and techniques aligned with our brand
Collaborate with artisans and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality
Create mood boards, hand sketches, and digital renderings
Experiment with textures, patterns, and weaving techniques
Maintain consistency with Rural Routes design language and premium positioning

Tools & Skills

Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with Procreate for concept development and sketching
Working knowledge of CAD software for technical drawings and product development
Understanding of textile construction, materials, and production processes
Strong sense of color, composition, and detail
