We are now looking for a Global Products R&D Manager for the OBK Product Line (Exploration products, including drill rigs, consumables, and geoscience equipment) to take full product ownership and lead the development of a competitive, compliant, and reliable global portfolio.

The Role

As the Global Products R&D Manager - OBK, you hold end-to-end technical and product responsibility for the OBK portfolio across its full lifecycle. Your mission is to ensure our products remain market-leading, safe, and cost-efficient while leading the global R&D organization and acting as a key member of the Global Products R&D Management Team.

Product Ownership: Ensure strong governance aligned with SRD strategy.
Compliance: Secure full product compliance and meet all regulatory requirements.
Competitiveness: Drive product reliability, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Global Synergy: Strengthen collaboration, leverage our global footprint, and optimize resources.
Leadership: Build robust OBK competence, succession plans, and future leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Hold technical ownership of complete products
Lead and develop the OBK Product Line R&D organization
Execute portfolio delivery, CPI, and functional development
Maintain CPI project plans and balanced resources
Handle field quality, product safety, and Machine Order (MO) support
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
Act as primary R&D interface for OBK product topics

Safety, Sustainability & Leadership

You will champion both proactive and reactive Product Safety initiatives, fostering a strong safety culture. You will integrate sustainability into every stage of product development and act as a role model for Epiroc's core values.

Your Profile

Experience: Senior leadership experience within global R&D organizations and driving change.
Mindset: A strong cando and Better Together approach, valuing diverse teams and a learning culture.
Approach: A continuous drive to improve ways of working through a systematic and structured approach.
Education: An Engineering degree is required.
Communication: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Location & travel

The position is based in Nashik, India, occasional international travel will be required.
