Description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Release Manager to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding our Agile teams, ensuring effective delivery of projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings.
Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance their skills and performance.
Manage the release process from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and ensure clarity on user stories and acceptance criteria.
Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.
Maintain metrics and reports to track team performance and progress, and promote transparency within the team and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging feedback and adaptation.

Skills and Qualifications

4-9 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Release Manager in a software development environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
Proficient in using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate discussions to build consensus among team members.
Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value to the customer.
