Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Release Manager to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding our Agile teams, ensuring effective delivery of projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings.
- Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage the release process from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and ensure clarity on user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Identify and resolve impediments that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.
- Maintain metrics and reports to track team performance and progress, and promote transparency within the team and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging feedback and adaptation.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-9 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Release Manager in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficient in using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate discussions to build consensus among team members.
- Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM) or Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering value to the customer.
