Job Description

At WSP, we are seeking for a Senior Engineer - Civil to join our team. This role is pivotal in leading, developing, and delivering civil engineering projects from feasibility to construction. You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of projects by collaborating within a multi-disciplinary environment.
Supervision: Supervise project teams in producing feasibility studies, detailed designs, and technical reports.
Technical Review: Conduct technical reviews and ensure designs meet relevant standards and codes.
Innovation: Embrace digital engineering and promote innovative engineering design solutions.
Mentorship: Act as a mentor to team members and potentially take on line management responsibilities.
Project Management: Manage projects to meet program and budget requirements.
Client Liaison: Liaise with clients to discuss technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
Business Development: Contribute to winning work through the production of fees, scopes, and quality responses to client tenders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in civil engineering project management and design.
Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of civil engineering design standards and codes.
Software Skills: Proficiency in relevant engineering software and digital tools.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
Innovation: Ability to embrace and promote digital engineering and innovative solutions.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
