Position: Zonel Sales Manager
Reporting to: National Head Sales/ Sales Director
Experience Required: 6-12 of overall Sales Experience
No. of Positions: 4-5 ( One ZSM per zone)
Role Summary
The Zonal Sales Manager will be responsible for driving zonal sales growth, expanding
market presence, strengthening channel partnerships, and leading the regional sales team to
achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets for WPC products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement zonal sales strategies in line with national business objectives
Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and market share targets for the zone
Manage, expand, and strengthen dealer, distributor, and project-based networks
Appoint new channel partners and ensure effective onboarding and performance
Lead, mentor, and monitor Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the zone
Ensure strong product placement, visibility, and brand presence across key markets
Track secondary sales, inventory movement, and ensure healthy stock rotation
Drive collections and maintain credit discipline across the channel
Coordinate with marketing and product teams for promotions, schemes, and new
launches
Monitor competitor activities and provide actionable market intelligence
Ensure timely MIS reporting and conduct regular sales performance reviews
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in channel sales and distribution management
Proven leadership and team-handling capabilities
Good understanding of building material markets and trade dynamics
Excellent communication, negotiation, and planning skills
Result-driven mindset with strong execution and follow-up abilities
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned zone
Desired Candidate Profile
612 years of overall sales experience
Exposure to WPC / Plywood / Hardware / Glass industries preferred
Minimum 24 years in a managerial, regional, or zonal role
MBA (Sales / Marketing) preferred
Master OF Business Administration (M.B.A), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A)
