Job Summary

Adani Wilmar Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Zonal Trader to manage and grow the edible oil bulk pack business across Maharashtra and Goa. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in oil trading and distribution, a proven track record in handling commodity business operations, and strong leadership in driving sales through wholesalers and distributors.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly volume targets for bulk consumer pack edible oils.
  • Manage appointment, onboarding, and development of wholesale distributors in the assigned territory.
  • Expand sales coverage by identifying and enlisting new wholesalers, restructuring beats, and deploying adequate sales resources.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies, company initiatives, and policies across Maharashtra.
  • Ensure optimum sales coverage and execution of bulk pack operations across regions.
  • Monitor and drive sales of high-volume jars and tins, optimizing reach and distribution.
  • Establish strong relationships with business partners (distributors, wholesalers, brokers) to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with brokers for efficient and profitable trading operations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all sales processes and systems.
  • Drive awareness and enforcement of company policies, especially with respect to credit control and outstanding reduction.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align regional execution with overall business objectives.

Key Criteria

  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years in oil trading or commodity sales, preferably handling multiple regions.
  • Education: MBA preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in edible oils, wholesale distribution, and trading.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis and reporting)
  • Excellent data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership abilities
  • Territory management and beat planning
  • Sales process compliance and execution
