Role & responsibilities
- Technical Assessment & Evaluation:
- Evaluate housing loan proposals based on technical feasibility, construction quality, and compliance with approved standards and guidelines.
- Project Monitoring:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor ongoing housing projects financed by the company to ensure adherence to technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Risk Management:
- Identify technical risks associated with housing projects and provide recommendations to mitigate them to protect the company's interests.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical guidance and support to sales, operations, and credit teams to enhance understanding of housing construction and associated risks.
- Training & Development:
- Organize and conduct training sessions for internal teams and external partners on technical standards, construction practices, and quality checks.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with builders, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed technical reports, inspection reports, and risk assessment documents. Ensure all records are maintained accurately for audit and compliance purposes.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all housing finance projects comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of technical officers/inspectors within the zone, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and capacity building.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in construction, housing finance, or related technical roles.
- Experience in site inspection, project evaluation, and technical risk assessment.
- Knowledge of housing finance products, construction standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the zone for site visits and meetings.
