Job Position: Zonal Sales Manager
Location: Bangalore, Chennai or Hyderabad
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) to lead our medical device and healthcare equipment sales operations across South India. The ZSM will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding hospital networks, and managing a team of Sales Professional. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational execution, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Own the sales strategy and execution for South India, ensuring achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, dealers, and application specialists across multiple states.
- Market Expansion: Drive hospital mapping, competitor benchmarking, and penetration analysis for anesthesia, monitors, ventilators, syringe pumps, ECG machines, and critical care equipment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with hospital administrators, procurement heads, doctors, and biomedical engineers in private hospitals.
- Strategic Planning: Prepare presentations (Excel, PPT, Word) for management reviews and strategy discussions.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, maintain accurate sales funnel reports, strategy to be adopted to cross the finish line, provide timely MIS updates.
- Business Development: Identify new opportunities in new projects, expansion of existing setups, private hospital chains, and diagnostic centers.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10–15 years in medical device/healthcare equipment sales, with at least 3–5 years in a regional leadership role.
- Education: Graduate in Engineering/ Science; MBA preferred.
- Territory Knowledge: Deep understanding of South India's healthcare market, hospital networks, and procurement processes.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Travel extensively across South India
