About The Opportunity

We operate in the innerwear and apparel manufacturing & distribution sector serving mass-market and retail channels across India. The business focuses on building strong trade relationships, driving territory-led growth, and expanding both general trade and modern trade footprints.

We are hiring an on-site Zonal Sales Manager to lead sales performance, distributor engagement, and market execution across a defined zone. This role suits a results-driven sales leader with deep experience in innerwear/apparel channel management and a strong bias for execution.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own zone P&L delivery by meeting or exceeding sales, margin, and distribution KPIs across all channels (general trade, modern trade, and key accounts).
  • Develop and execute territory plansprioritise high-potential districts, route-to-market strategies, and channel-specific initiatives to maximise penetration.
  • Manage and coach distributor partners and field sales teams to improve availability, shelf execution, and secondary sales conversion.
  • Drive key account negotiations and trade programs with retailers, wholesalers, and large format stores to secure revenue and visibility gains.
  • Implement trade-marketing and merchandising plans in the zone; monitor execution through regular field audits and corrective actions.
  • Use CRM and sales data to forecast demand, set targets, track performance, and run weekly/monthly business reviews with stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven track record in zonal or regional sales within the innerwear/apparel industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in distributor management and channel sales operations.
  • Strong capability in territory planning, retail execution, and trade marketing implementation.
  • Experience using CRM and sales analytics to drive forecasting and performance (Salesforce experience preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience handling modern trade and key accounts for apparel or FMCG brands.
  • Formal qualification in sales/marketing or business management (MBA or equivalent preferred).
