10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within telematics, FASTag, mobility, or BFSI sectors
Job Overview -The Zonal Sales Head is responsible for driving zonal revenue, market expansion, and sales excellence across Telematics, FASTag, and Financial Services offerings. The role focuses on strategic sales execution, channel development, and team leadership while delivering integrated mobility and financial solutions to enterprise and retail customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Planning & Execution
- Define and execute zonal sales strategies aligned with business objectives and revenue targets across Telematics, FASTag, and Financial products
- Drive adoption and penetration of FASTag solutions across fleets, logistics players, transporters, corporates, and retail segments
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities in fleet management, toll payments, mobility solutions, and financial services
- Build and scale FASTag distribution through banks, OEMs, dealers, fuel stations, transport hubs, and channel partners
- Lead enterprise and bulk FASTag onboarding initiatives
3. Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and manage Regional/Area Sales Managers and frontline sales teams
- Set clear KPIs covering FASTag activation, telematics installations, revenue, and customer acquisition
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training on product, compliance, and sales effectiveness
4. Channel & Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, distributors, banks, OEMs, logistics firms, and FASTag channel partners
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, retention, and renewal of services
- Handle escalations related to FASTag issuance, activation, and service quality
5. Market Intelligence, Analytics & Reporting
- Track market trends, competitor activity, FASTag pricing, interchange structures, and regulatory changes (NHAI, NPCI)
- Use CRM and dashboards to monitor sales performance, FASTag issuance vs. activation ratios, and revenue realization
- Present forecasts, MIS, and performance reports to senior management
6. Product Expertise & Integrated Solution Selling
- Demonstrate deep understanding of Telematics (GPS, fleet management, IoT), FASTag (issuance, activation, compliance), and Financial Services (vehicle finance, loans, insurance)
- Drive bundled offerings combining FASTag, telematics, and financial products to maximize customer lifetime value
7. Compliance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure adherence to NPCI/NHAI FASTag guidelines, company policies, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with operations, customer support, and banking partners for seamless FASTag lifecycle management
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- MBA preferred
Experience
- Strong track record in achieving zonal or regional sales targe
- Prior experience in FASTag, payments, mobility solutions, telematics, or BFSI is highly desirable
Technical & Commercial Skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales analytics
- Strong understanding of FASTag ecosystem, digital payments, and enterprise sales
- Sound commercial, financial, and negotiation skills
