Your role and responsibilities
You will be Responsible for Develops an effective (business area/division/product group) sales strategy within the specified market scope (global/regional) and maintains it, to improve ABB's market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Defines, plans, leads, and ensures the execution of sales strategy to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. Monitors sales performance, continuously ensuring the development and implementation of corrective actions to secure business growth when needed.Oversees, trains, and supports the sales organization (sales managers and specialists within scope) to reach sales objectives by building a skilled, motivated team.

This role is contributing to two divisions of ABB Electrification Business Area -Smart Power and Smart Building Divisions inBANGALORE, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Growzonalbusiness by identifying and developing new market opportunities, maintaining an opportunity pipeline, and meeting assigned sales targets through clear conversion strategies.
Promote ABB's ELSP and ELSB through value-based selling, effective communication of product specifications, new product launches, and participation in promotional events and seminars aligned with company strategy.
Build and maintain close relationships with consultants, key industries, building and utility end users, and influencers within the assigned territory, ensuringcomprehensive market coverage and a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales support.
Act as a trusted technical partner by engaging customers regularly, understanding their needs, resolving issues promptly, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage sales operations effectively, including administrative processes, forecasting, market intelligence sharing, cash collection, project management support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth business execution.
Qualifications for the role:
15-20 years of demonstrated experience in the LV Switchgear field with extensive technical and commercial exposure.
Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering (B.E. /B.Techor higher qualification).
Demonstrated experience in business development with the ability to identify and convert new opportunities.
Demonstrated account managementand handle large team managementskills with experience handling key customer relationships.
Proficiency in SAP, CRM, and SFDC, with the ability to effectively manage sales and operational processes.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with effective presentation capabilities.
Solid technical acumen combined with a customer-focused mindset and a solution-oriented, professional approach.
