Job Title: Zonal Operations Manager (ZOM)

Job Summary:
The Zonal Operations Manager (ZOM) will oversee the operations of approximately 45 schools within the
assigned zone, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning across all campuses. This role demands strong
strategic planning, leadership, and coordination skills to drive operational excellence and ensure
adherence to organizational standards. The ZOM will lead a team comprising School Managers and
School Executives, fostering seamless coordination between academic, administrative, and facilitiesrelated
functions to maintain optimal school performance and infrastructure quality.

we are seeking an experienced and proactive Zonal Operations Manager (ZOM) to oversee the
operational performance of multiple branches within an assigned zone.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of all schools in the assigned zone.
Lead and support School Managers and School Executives to ensure operational goals are met.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance across all branches.
Monitor performance metrics, operational efficiency, and service quality across schools.
Coordinate with central departments including HR, Finance, Academics, and Administration for
process alignment.
Supervise all school-level facilities management including maintenance, safety, transport, and
housekeeping.
Identify gaps in operations and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources and timely execution of operational and infrastructural plans.
Conduct regular audits, branch visits, and reviews to assess operational effectiveness and facility
conditions.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence across the zone.
Handle escalations and provide on-ground operational support when required.
Key Requirements:
MBA or equivalent degree in Operations/Management from a reputed institute.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in operations or administration, preferably in education or service
sectors.
Experience managing multi-branch or multi-location operations.
Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and operational reporting tools.
Knowledge of school facility management and safety standards.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned zone.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in school operations, educational administration, or K12 school networks.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to drive process improvements and manage large teams.
Exposure to facilities planning, vendor management, and infrastructure maintenance.
