Position: Zonal Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Target Achievement
- Plan and achieve store and category sales targets for assigned locations.
- Ensure OPEX targets are met across all stores.
- Monitor and maintain timely stock rotation within the region.
- Execute promotional activities to increase brand visibility and store footfall.
- Identify and nurture opportunities for institutional and bulk sales.
- Track key retail metrics including mystery audits, footfall, conversion, and average bill value, and take timely corrective actions.
Store Operations
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure store readiness, ambience, and smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to operational protocols and resolve escalated customer concerns.
- Review performance metrics periodically and implement measures to improve productivity and profitability.
- Implement and enhance store operational standards aligned with company benchmarks.
- Monitor store rosters to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to stock ordering processes.
- Minimize dead and damaged stock within the region.
- Ensure no SAS stores operate in the region; drive profitability improvement where required.
- Ensure Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines are consistently followed across stores.
Administrative Responsibility
- Provide data inputs for annual budgeting and track performance against budget.
- Consolidate and report key retail metrics in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with required documentation and procedural standards.
- Oversee packaging and insurance documentation for crossstore transfers and ensure timely claim submissions.
Business Expansion
- Identify potential store locations based on real estate trends, customer demographics, and market opportunities.
- Support project management for new store openings including planning, processes, standards, signage, and recruitment.
- Facilitate execution of feasibility studies and expansion plans.
MIS and Reporting
- Analyze regional and store-wise sales and stock performance.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly reports as per timelines.
Self & Team Development / Teamwork
- Invest in continuous self-development.
- Coach and train team members to enhance capabilities.
- Conduct KRA-based evaluations and communicate KRAs at the start of each cycle.
- Coordinate with the Training team to deliver induction programs for new employees.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across markets and crossfunctional teams.
- Mentor new employees and ensure all staff adhere to company standards and code of conduct.
