About the Role

The Zonal HR Business Partner West , based in Mumbai, is responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives and aligning business objectives with people practices across designated business units. This role partners closely with business leaders to enhance employee performance, support development, and ensure the adoption of HR policies and cultural values. The incumbent will play a key role in succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement, while fostering a culture of governance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Understand business priorities and align structures with the Target Operating Model.
  • Drive the implementation and adoption of all HR practices and policies across business teams and PAN India.
  • Support succession planning by identifying successors for critical roles and enabling employee success.
  • Partner with L&D and Talent teams to identify and coach high-potential talent.
  • Lead the performance management process, ensuring productive conversations and fairness.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive HR agendas and enhance workforce productivity.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Promote alignment with the organization's strategy, vision, and brand promise
  • Drive innovative employee engagement initiatives and support business-led HR programs.
  • Foster a culture of governance and strong employee relations.
  • Partner with recruitment teams to ensure timely staffing of key roles.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10 to 15 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to business partnering in zonal or regional roles.
