Role Description The Zonal Head role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Zonal Head will oversee sales and operations within the assigned zone, including setting targets, monitoring performance, and driving revenue growth. This role involves managing and mentoring regional sales teams, building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as architects, interior designers, dealers, and distributors, and ensuring consistent customer satisfaction. The Zonal Head will analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, implement zonal sales strategies, and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and service. Regular reporting, budget management, and adherence to company policies and quality standards are integral to the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in zonal or regional sales leadership, preferably in building materials, wood products, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in sales planning, target setting, performance tracking, and territory management.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with architects, interior designers, dealers, distributors, and institutional clients.
  • Competence in team management, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating sales teams to achieve objectives.
  • Solid understanding of market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and business development strategies.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company professionally.
  • Comfort with using CRM tools, sales reporting systems, and basic MS Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned zone as required and work on-site in Chennai.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices, customer satisfaction, and quality standards.
