We are seeking a highly skilled Zoho Engineer with strong expertise in customizing and programming across the Zoho suite, particularly Zoho CRM/Zoho Inventory/Zoho Commerce, and Zoho APIs.
This role will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating solutions that support our
distribution company's end-to-end operations, ensuring seamless workflows, automation, and data
consistency across the entire Zoho ecosystem. The ideal candidate is both technical and business-oriented, able to translate operational needs into scalable solutions that optimize sales, e-commerce, inventory, logistics, and customer management.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Zoho CRM Development & Customization
- Customize modules, fields, layouts, workflows, and automation to meet business needs.
- Build and maintain advanced functions (Deluge scripting) for custom workflows and validations.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for sales and operations.
- Zoho Inventory & Distribution Operations
- Configure and customize Zoho Inventory for product management, stock control, and order fulfillment.
- Automate purchase order, sales order, and invoicing processes.
- Ensure accurate data synchronization across CRM, Inventory, and Finance modules.
- Zoho Commerce & Online Sales
- Implement and customize Zoho Commerce storefronts for B2B/B2C sales.
- Integrate product catalogs, pricing rules, and customer portals with CRM and Inventory.
- Optimize checkout, payment processing, and order fulfillment workflows.
- API Development & Integrations
- Design and implement API integrations between Zoho and external platforms (ERP, accounting, e-commerce, logistics).
- Maintain middleware scripts for real-time data exchange.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
- Workflow Automation
- Analyze business processes and recommend automation opportunities.
- Implement Blueprints, approval processes, and multi-step workflows.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and data governance standards.
- Technical Support & Documentation
- Provide ongoing support for Zoho users (sales, operations, finance teams).
- Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow maps, and API references.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of proven experience working with Zoho CRM/Zoho Inventory, and Zoho Commerce, including customization and API integrations.
- Strong programming skills in Deluge (Zoho scripting), JavaScript, PHP, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Creator/Zoho Books/Zoho Analytics, and Zoho Flow is a strong plus.
- Experience in distribution, supply chain, or e-commerce environments preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience integrating Zoho with ERP systems, marketplaces (Shopify, Amazon), or accounting software.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth, and webhooks.
- Familiarity with SQL and data modeling.
- Ability to manage projects independently and deliver on time.
