About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Documentary or Independent Filmmaker/video editor who understands the difference between pretty editing and story-driven editing with high audience retetion. You'll transform our fitness and women's health content from scroll-past to stop-scroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit fixed number videos per month
• Restructure raw footage for maximum retention (70%+ at 30 seconds)
• Find hooks where others see nothing
• Create graphics and animations that tell stories, not just decorate
• Test, iterate, and scale what works

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects
• Experience with AI editing tools (Opus, Descript, RunwayML, etc.)
• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Strong understanding of platform-native content
• Ability to explain why something went viral (or didn't)
• English fluency

You're Perfect If You

• Look at a 30K view video and immediately spot why it died
• Have scaled content from thousands to hundreds of thousands of views
• Understand that the best moment might be buried at minute 7
• Know retention graphs are more important than color grades
• Can prove it with examples

Don't Apply If

• You think 30-40K views is pretty good
• You believe viral = luck
• Your solution to low views is post more consistently
• You can't handle direct feedback on what's not working

Compensation

• Base: 50,000 - 1,00,000 per month (scales with proven results)
• Performance bonuses for 100K, 250K, 500K, and 1M+ views
• Fully remote position
• Learn what actually drives virality (knowledge worth more than the salary)
