We're NOT looking for someone who manages YouTube channels.

We're looking for a YouTube Strategist, someone who has grown channels from the data up. Someone who looks at a retention graph and immediately knows what went wrong. Someone who can write a title that makes you stop scrolling and brief a thumbnail that earns the click.

If you can't show us the numbers behind your decisions, this isn't for you.

About The Creator Room

The Creator Room (TCR) is India's leading creator business podcast where India's biggest creators and operators break down the math, models, and growth playbooks behind the creator economy. Hosted by Bijay Gautam and Manish Pandey, TCR is one of India's fastest-growing shows in the creator economy space.

You'll be the person responsible for making sure the right people find it.

What You'll Own

As our YouTube Strategist, you will:

- Own the end-to-end YouTube strategy for The Creator Room and other shows at LeverageX Media

- Conduct deep channel audits — CTR, AVD, retention curves, impression sources, audience behaviour

- Lead title and thumbnail strategy in collaboration with our Thumbnail Designer

- Define content packaging frameworks for long-form episodes, Shorts, and clips

- Analyse what's working, what's not, and brief the team accordingly — every single week

- Drive publishing strategy including upload timing, descriptions, tags, cards, and end screens

- Work with producers and editors to align post-production decisions with distribution goals

- Stay ahead of YouTube algorithm updates and platform trends in the creator economy space

What We're Looking For

- Proven track record of growing YouTube channels with data to back it — not just experience, but results

- Deep fluency in YouTube Analytics: CTR, AVD, watch time, retention curves, impression sources, revenue per mille

- Strong title-writing skills — you understand curiosity gaps, search intent, and what makes someone click

- Experience working on talk show, podcast, interview, or long-form content formats

- Ability to brief a thumbnail designer with precision — not vague direction

- Familiarity with tools like VidIQ, TubeBuddy, Spotter Studio, or equivalent

- Understanding of how Shorts and clips fit into a long-form YouTube strategy

- Strong communicator who can translate data into clear creative direction for a team

You Are NOT The Right Fit If:

- You've only managed social media accounts and occasionally posted to YouTube

- You rely on gut feel without data to support your decisions

- You've never personally written titles or briefed thumbnails with CTR intent

- You think YouTube strategy is just about posting consistently

- You can't audit a channel and tell us exactly what's broken within 30 minutes
