Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly driven and analytical YouTube Operations Manager to manage and scale our movie & Serial based YouTube channels. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in YouTube growth strategies, content optimization, audience retention, and monetization. The role requires someone who understands movie audiences, viral content trends, and platform algorithms to maximize channel performance, watch time, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute growth strategies for movie & Serial-focused YouTube channels to increase subscribers, views, watch time, and revenue.
• Manage end-to-end YouTube channel operations including publishing, scheduling, metadata optimization, playlists, cards, end screens, and content categorization.
• Optimize video titles, thumbnails, descriptions, tags, and SEO to improve click-through rates and discoverability.
• Analyze YouTube Analytics data including CTR, audience retention, watch time, RPM, and engagement metrics to improve content performance.
• Coordinate with video editors, thumbnail designers, content teams, and social media teams to ensure timely and optimized uploads.
• Identify trending movie topics, viral clips, audience interests, and competitor strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Conduct A/B testing for thumbnails, titles, and content formats to maximize performance.
• Monitor copyright claims, Content ID issues, monetization status, and channel policy compliance.
• Drive audience engagement through community posts, polls, comments, premieres, and live interactions.
• Maintain content calendars and ensure consistency in publishing schedules.
• Stay updated with YouTube algorithm changes, movie industry trends, and platform best practices.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience managing or growing YouTube channels, preferably in entertainment or movie content.
• Strong understanding of YouTube Studio, YouTube Analytics, TubeBuddy, vidIQ, or similar tools.
• Proven experience in increasing views, subscriber growth, and monetization performance.
• Excellent understanding of YouTube SEO, audience behavior, retention strategies, and recommendation systems.
• Ability to create high-performing titles, thumbnails, and content packaging strategies.
• Strong communication, coordination, and project management skills.
• Passion for movies, entertainment content, and digital media trends.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience handling movie clips, film-based content, trailers, reviews, or entertainment channels.
• Knowledge of YouTube copyright systems and fair usage guidelines.
• Basic understanding of social media promotion and cross-platform audience growth.
• Experience managing multiple YouTube channels is an added advantage.
