Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic, execution-driven YouTube Manager to lead content strategy, operations, and growth for our UPSC-focused YouTube channels. This role requires a strong understanding of the UPSC ecosystem, learner behavior, and YouTube performance dynamics. You will own end-to-end channel growth, manage a team, and collaborate closely with educators, content, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end YouTube channel growth for UPSC content
- Build and execute a content strategy aligned with UPSC syllabus, trends, and exam timelines
- Collaborate with top educators to plan high-impact content (lectures, shorts, current affairs, revision series, etc.)
- Analyze performance metrics (CTR, watch time, retention, etc.) and optimize content strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of YouTube Associates / Executives
- Work closely with design & editing teams to ensure high-quality thumbnails, titles, and packaging
- Identify and leverage YouTube trends, SEO, and algorithm insights
- Plan and execute content calendars based on exam cycles (Prelims, Mains, Interviews)
- Drive audience engagement and community growth
What We're Looking For
- 4–6 years of experience managing or scaling YouTube channel
- Strong understanding of the UPSC exam ecosystem (Prelims, Mains, Interview stages)
- Proven track record of growing YouTube channels (education category preferred)
- Hands-on experience with YouTube analytics, SEO, and content optimization
- Strong stakeholder management skills (educators, editors, designers)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
