About the Role: We're looking for a data-driven, creative, and crypto-savvy YouTube Growth Manager who can take ownership of our YouTube strategy and scale it like a channel-first media brand. You'll be responsible for everything from SEO and keyword research to audience development, programming, and production planning ensuring Mudrex becomes the go-to YouTube destination for anyone curious about crypto.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a YouTube growth strategy aligned with Mudrex's brand and business goals.
- Content & Programming: Plan, schedule, and manage an editorial calendar of crypto-focused videos from education to explainers, news reactions, and creator collaborations.
- YouTube SEO: Conduct deep keyword research, competitor analysis, and tag optimization to improve discovery and ranking.
- Channel Optimization: Drive best practices across titles, thumbnails, metadata, playlists, and retention strategies to maximize CTR and watch time.
- Analytics & Insights: Monitor channel performance using YouTube Analytics, VidIQ, or TubeBuddy; identify growth levers and present actionable insights.
- Production Management: Collaborate with content, design, and video teams to ensure timely production and publishing consistency.
- Trendspotting: Stay ahead of YouTube and crypto trends to quickly respond with timely and relevant content ideas.
- Community Building: Drive engagement through comments, polls, and community posts, ensuring Mudrex's YouTube audience feels heard and valued.
- Production Management: Manage in-house and external video production, managing scripts, providing actionable feedback, creating storyboards, and manage final hand-off of videos, both short and long format.
What You'll Bring- 36 years of experience in YouTube channel management, growth, or digital content strategy.
- Proven track record of scaling a YouTube channel (ideally in fintech, crypto, or tech).
- Deep understanding of YouTube algorithms, analytics, and growth mechanics.
- Solid knowledge of the crypto ecosystem, from Bitcoin to DeFi and emerging trends.
- Familiarity with tools like VidIQ, TubeBuddy, and Google Trends.
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
- A strong sense of storytelling, curiosity, and adaptability in fast-moving environments.
Nice to Have- Experience working with creators, influencers, or brand channels in the finance/tech domain.
- Understanding of short-form video growth (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
- Ability to conceptualize content formats that blend education + entertainment.
