About The Opportunity
Join a fast-paced diagnostic imaging team delivering high-quality radiographic services to ambulatory and inpatient patients in Talegaon. This on-site role requires a technically skilled radiology technician who consistently produces diagnostic-quality images, ensures patient safety, and supports smooth PACS/DICOM workflows.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic Xray examinations (chest, abdomen, spine, extremities) and acquire high-quality images meeting radiologist requirements.
- Operate and maintain digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems; manage image transfer and archiving via PACS/DICOM.
- Position patients accurately, select appropriate exposure parameters, and apply radiation-protection measures for patients and staff.
- Prepare imaging reports and documentation, maintain logs, and escalate equipment faults to biomedical/support teams promptly.
- Assist radiologists during procedures, ensure patient comfort and consent, and follow infection-control protocols.
- Follow AERB and facility radiation-safety policies; perform daily quality-control checks and participate in routine calibration activities.
