We are looking for an XR Developer with strong technical expertise in building immersive, interactive and data-driven extended reality experiences.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create intelligent, responsive and visually rich XR applications across platforms such as Android XR, WebXR and mixed reality environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive XR applications for Android and web platforms using modern frameworks and toolchains
- Implement and integrate 3D interactions, spatial experiences and real-time rendering workflows.
- Build scalable XR frontends using TypeScript and native modules using Kotlin for Android XR
- Integrate APIs and backend systems using REST and GraphQL for data-driven XR environments
- Work closely with AI and data teams to integrate GenAI, RAG and Bedrock models into immersive applications
- Develop efficient data management, preview and bundling mechanisms for XR assets and user sessions
- Optimize performance for rendering, latency and resource usage across devices
- Collaborate with designers, AI engineers and 3D artists to implement seamless and intuitive user interactions
- Conduct testing, debugging and iterative improvements to ensure high performance and reliability
- Stay updated with advancements in WebXR, Android XR and immersive interaction frameworks to continuously innovate
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Strong understanding in AR/VR/MR/XR development or interactive 3D application development
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Kotlin
- Proficiency in React Three Fiber, Three.js, Unity or similar XR frameworks
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs for backend integration
- Familiarity with Android XR SDKs, interaction systems and spatial data management
- Understanding of bundling, build optimization and performance tuning for XR experiences
- Knowledge of 3D asset pipelines, scene optimization and real-time rendering concepts
- Ability to work with GenAI frameworks (e.g., RAG, Bedrock) for context-aware immersive experiences
- Strong debugging, problem-solving and performance optimization skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities in a startup-like, multi-disciplinary environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with WebXR, React XR or Android XR extensions
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven content generation and contextual data visualization
- Exposure to AWS Bedrock, LangChain or Retrieval-Augmented Generation integrations
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern build/bundling tools
- Understanding of interaction design, UX for XR and gesture/voice interfaces
- Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows and collaborative version control (Git)
