Job Description

Essential :

B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication

Minimum 60 % marks

Desirable:

M.E / M. Tech in Control Systems and project work related to Electric Vehicle / Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Role:

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Battery & Battery Management System Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Conceptualization, Design and Development of HEV/EV Lithium-Ion Battery Management System (BMS)

Define BMS architecture & Electrical System Architecture

Requirement engineering of BMS

Defining functional safety requirements (ISO26262) for BMS controller

Control algorithms of traction battery such as SOC, SOH estimation, cell balancing, life optimization, safety controls, cell characterization, energy calculation, thermal management

BMS Hils validation

Coordination with other design departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities

Technical/ Functional:

Working experience of Lithium-Ion battery design and testing

Knowledge of types of cells/modules, chemistry, electrical characteristics, battery packs architectures etc.

Working experience of battery management system hardware/software design, configuration, and testing

Experience in testing at pack level and vehicle level testing

Model Based Design, experience with Matlab Simulink/State flow

ECU testing, excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of ISO 26262

Knowledge of HEV/EV Regulations such as AIS 038 & other relevant regulations

Behavioral

Proactive, excellent in taking initiatives

Excellent problem-solving skills

Self-Starter

Should be open to posting anywhere as per the job requirement
