About the Role

We are seeking an SPMDeveloper - Architect to help design, govern, implement, and enhance SPM solutions across nVent's global businesses. This role will focus on leveraging the Xactly platform to drive enhancements, strategies, efficiency in SPM processes, and seamless system integration with Data Warehouse, ERP and CRM platforms.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT partners, and pricing analysts to develop scalable and sustainable pricing configurations that align with nVent's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable Xactly Incent and SPM solutions aligned with business requirements
  • Lead full lifecycle implementations including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Develop and maintain compensation plans, rules, formulas, workflows, and reporting within Xactly
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations teams to translate compensation strategies into technical solutions
  • Optimize system performance, data integrations, and calculation efficiency
  • Build and manage integrations between Xactly and upstream/downstream systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouses)
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and administrators
  • Ensure data accuracy, audit compliance, and governance across compensation systems
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing production support
  • Stay current with Xactly platform updates and recommend enhancements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Sales Performance Management, Incentive Compensation, or related domains
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Xactly Incent, Xactly Connect, and related modules
  • Strong understanding of compensation plan design and commission structures
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
  • Experience integrating Xactly with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, or similar systems
  • Solid understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and audit processes
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with Xactly Analytics or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
  • Prior experience in an Architect or Lead role
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Xactly certifications
