Job Description:

1. SAP Basis- Duties

a. Installation of SAP landscape

b. Installation of Sybase database

c. Need to identify OS patches to be installed to run SAP properly.

d. Install client on client systems and internal team systems along with configurations related

to SAP connectivity.

e. Attend onsite team calls to resolve their day to day SAP connectivity issues/problems.

f. Create/modify user name and reset password SAP ISU and BW based on user’s requests.

g. Need to move TRs from Development to quality to Production servers.

h. Need to maintain version controls before moving TRs

i. Release document to be maintained before TRs moving to Production.

j. Need monitor and record the health of SAP Landscape on daily basis.

k. Need to monitor CPU and Spaces issues on daily basis. If any exception found need to take

proper action with the proper approval.

l. Need to monitor Backup on daily basis.

m. Need to test and confirm backup taken is proper or not.

n. Need to monitor log shipping to DR and apply them on DR.

o. Need to monitor network/ corruption of files while moving log files.

i. Need to monitor activities done by user and if any threats need to be escalated to

management and provide solution.

2. SAP ABAP- Duties

a. SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements,

Conversion Programs, SAPscript, and SmartForms, Screen Painter BDC, LSMW, User Exits,

Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary,

RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI

b. Apply OSS Notes and support packages

c. Analyses the functional specification.

d. Develops technical specifications and works with BASIS and functional experts to complete

object development and testing Perform development unit testing

e. Support and help functional folks to perform integration testing

f. Fix the custom objects.

g. Enhance the custom objects for new requirements

h. SQL query writing and tuning.

i. Integrations between SAP and other applications.

j. SAP ABAP programming tools including Report and Transaction creation, Enhancements,

Conversion Programs, SAPscript, and SmartForms, Screen Painter BDC, LSMW, User Exits,

Menu Exits, Function Exit, Screen Exit, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary,

RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI

3. SAP BW- Duties

a. Planning the business requirements gathering sessions and process

b. Coordinating all business requirements gathering efforts with the BW Project Manager

c. Facilitating the business requirements gathering sessions

d. Capturing the information and producing the deliverables from the business requirements

gathering sessions

e. Understanding and documenting business definitions of data

f. Developing the data model

g. Ensuring integration of data from both SAP and non-SAP sources

h. Fielding questions concerning the data content, definition and structure

i. Establish connections to the BW sources

j. Activate the standard Business Content

k. Enable the standard InfoCubes and Queries

l. Enhance the InfoCubes as required by the BW Data Architect

m. Enhance the Queries as required by the BW Data Access Consultant

n. Define authorization profiles and access

o. Evaluate statistical performance and make recommendations to Basis support for

optimization where possible

p. Manage the CTS layer.

i. Creating reports and training to on site and CLIENT teams.

MIS- Duties

a. Need to coordinate with CLIENT for changes and its approval of reports.

b. Need to understand the report requirement from CLIENT and ITIA functional team.

c. Planning of Training on reports to CLIENT users, management and top management.

d. Reports Related to stakeholder need to generate and submit.

e. Reports Related to CLIENT Operation/ Monitoring.

ii. FS of Reports.

iii. Testing of Developers Reports.

iv. User manuals of Reports.

v. Training to onsite team on reply developed

f. Training to CLIENT on reports Developed.

UCSE and web site- Duties

g. Monitoring of online payments module.

h. Monitoring of connectivity to database.

i. Changes in UCSE need to be taken up and do it in ABAP webpro

j. Connective of UCSE site.

k. Threat access of UCSE site need to monitor.

l. Coordination between web site vendor and CLIENT
