Role & Responsibilities

1. Diagnostic Imaging Support

• Perform X-ray, OPG, mammography, USG, and 2D Echo procedures
• Position patients accurately and ensure comfort
• Prepare, operate, and manage imaging equipment following SOPs

2. Image Reading & Reporting

• Review diagnostic images and assist in preparing reports for the radiologist
• Use imaging software/tools to analyze and document findings

3. Patient Handling & Communication

• Explain procedures clearly and guide patients throughout the process
• Provide a calm and reassuring experience for all patients

4. Quality Control & Safety

• Follow radiation safety protocols and compliance requirements
• Maintain high standards of imaging quality and documentation
• Ensure adherence to PC PNDT guidelines

5. Documentation & Record Management

• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and imaging logs
• Update documentation as per compliance and audit requirements

6. Equipment Management

• Oversee routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment
• Report technical issues and ensure equipment is functioning optimally

Requirements

• 25 years of experience as a Radiology Technician
• Diploma/Degree in Radiology / X-ray / Imaging Technology
• Strong understanding of radiation safety & PC PNDT compliance
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and patient-handling skills
