We are seeking a skilled and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing X-ray examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per the physician's instructions.
- Ensure safety and comfort of patients during the X-ray procedures.
- Maintain and operate X-ray equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and ensure they are suitable for diagnosis.
- Assist radiologists in interpreting images and preparing reports as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging procedures performed.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding patient care and safety.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent qualification.
- Valid certification from the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., AERB in India).
- 4-6 years of experience in performing X-ray examinations in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in operating X-ray machines and understanding imaging techniques.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
