It Is a Dangerous Sport And Yet Many Have Their Eyes On It. Only a Few Make It To The Top And Remain Successful. Here Are a Set Of Guidelines To Get You Started
- Start training when you are young. The earlier you start the better it is. You get to spend a lot of time learning and mastering the techniques and rules of the game.
- Professional Wrestling (aka Pro Wrestling) requires a tremendous amount of physical strength. Thus make you sure you stay in good physical shape by eating right and exercising or playing another sport.
- Size and weight are not that critical but you must be able to maintain your weight in order to hold your ground.
- Acting is an integral part of WWE. Thus take acting lessons if you must.
- You will be required to travel to different cities and countries. Be prepared to spend a lot of time away from home.
- You will be then required to submit an application to show your interest and create your profile.
- If chosen, you may be called for a tryout. Tryouts are held throughout the year.

Types of Wrestling Styles in india
In India two main forms of wrestling namely Malla Krida - a sports form of the game and Malla Yudda - a battle form of wrestling. Freestyle form of wrestling is most common in India which is also known as Kushti. Furthermore, based on technique and methodology, Indian wrestling is divided into Bhimaseni, Hanumanthi, Jambuvanthi and Jarasandhi.

- Stance - There are two types of stance: square and staggered. Both are equally good and you must discover one that suits you most.
- Level Change - Level change occurs when you shoot a takedown or are ready for one. Thus lowering the level by lowering the hips is important, all the while maintaining your posture.
- Back Step - This is seen when a wrestler executes a throw.
- Back Arch - While attempting to throw his opponent, a wrestler pops his hips under him by arching his back.
- Lifting - Lifting is done while executing a takedown by lifting the opponent off the mat. The opponent then loses support and balance in this position and thus becomes vulnerable.
- Penetration - This occurs during a takedown when you reach for his legs to lift him off the mat. You use the penetration technique by keeping your back straight and your head up.
- Motion - Lot of motion is involved while wrestling. You may circle your opponent, attack with an attempt at takedown, spin around him, sprawl to defend a takedown etc.

- Working on your body - You should start training when young, this gives you an extra edge over others. Develop good physical strength by intense training and conditioning.Maintaining a specific body weight is also important, so you need to eat right and exercise right. Injuries are an integral part of any sport. But you should be able to take it in your stride and get back on your feet.
- Choosing the right mentor - The right trainer makes all the difference. Thus choosing a mentor who has decades of experience will help you in learning the right techniques, in learning from mistakes, in being able to study the opponent's moves and countering them correctly etc. Talk to a promoter and express your interest in wrestling. There may be several independent wrestlers who are willing to train new talent although these may be expensive.
