We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Textile Designer to join our design studio. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative artistry and technical engineering. You will be responsible for developing innovative textile structures, analyzing fabric compositions, and translating market trends into commercially viable products.
A strong technical background in textile manufacturing, combined with a deep aesthetic understanding of color and pattern, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Weave Analysis & Technical Development: Conduct thorough analysis of fabric samples (including count, construction, pattern, and finish). Translate physical swatches or artwork into technical specifications and production-ready files.
- Design & Concept Creation: Apply advanced color and pattern theory to develop unique, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound textile designs (such as yarn-dyed plaids, stripes, and jacquards).
- Market & Trend Analysis: Research and interpret global fashion and textile trends. Align design outputs with current market demands and commercial viability.
Technical Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:B.Tech / Diploma in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering from a recognized and accredited textile technology institution.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in textile design
- Software Skills: Proficiency in textile CAD software (Tex CAD / Textronics)
