Key Responsibilities
Reporting & Data Operations
- Publish accurate and timely weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards to workplace and facilities leadership.
- Process and deliver ad hoc reports and analyses on request, with quick turnaround and high accuracy.
- Maintain reporting calendars, templates, and SOPs to ensure consistency and auditability of all published data.
- Own end-to-end data quality — validation, reconciliation, and error-checking — before any report is published.
- Extract, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources (facilities management systems, ticketing tools, badge/access data, vendor reports, surveys, finance data) into unified datasets.
- Draw key inferences and trends from integrated data to support workplace strategy, space planning, and cost optimization.
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools for leadership and site teams.
- Use Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros) and PowerPoint to build management-ready analysis and presentations.
- Where applicable, write Python scripts to automate recurring data extraction, cleansing, and reporting tasks.
- Translate leadership priorities into a structured analytics agenda for the workplace & facilities function.
- Proactively identify opportunities where data can influence real-estate, space, cost, or experience decisions, and bring these forward with recommendations.
- Support annual and quarterly workplace planning cycles with historical trend analysis and forward-looking projections.
- Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, and documentation (data dictionaries, source-of-truth mapping) for workplace data sets.
- Ensure data privacy, access control, and confidentiality are maintained across all reporting, particularly for employee and vendor data.
- Drive consistency in metrics and KPIs across sites/regions so leadership works off a single version of the truth.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques (trend analysis, variance analysis, forecasting) to workplace and facilities datasets.
- Build scalable, reusable data models and dashboards rather than one-off manual reports.
- Continuously improve reporting efficiency through automation and process simplification.
- Work closely with Facilities Operations, Real Estate, Finance, HR, EHS & GPNS to source data and align on reporting requirements.
- Act as a single point of contact for data and reporting queries from workplace stakeholders and leadership.
- Diagnose root causes of data discrepancies, reporting delays, or gaps, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Respond effectively to urgent, ambiguous, or time-sensitive data requests from leadership with sound judgement.
- Recommend practical, data-backed solutions to workplace challenges such as space underutilization, service SLA misses, or cost overruns.
- Advanced Excel
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI (data modeling, DAX, dashboard design, report publishing).
- Proficiency in PowerPoint for building executive-ready presentations.
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation is a strong plus.
- Ability to work with large, multi-source datasets and integrate them into clean, structured formats.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in a deadline-driven reporting environment.
- Exposure to workplace management, facilities management, or corporate real estate data (space utilization, occupancy, ticketing/CAFM systems) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of IT services industry operating norms and stakeholder expectations is an advantage.
- Graduate in any stream (mandatory); a background in analytics, statistics, commerce, or engineering is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a data/reporting/analytics role, ideally supporting a workplace, facilities, real estate, or operations function.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reports for leadership audiences.
- Minimum of 10yrs of relevant experience
- Based out of Bangalore.
- Expected to report to office 5 days per week.
- Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy.
- Comfortable operating independently while managing multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Curious and proactive — looks beyond the reporting ask to surface insights that matter to leadership.
- Clear communicator, able to simplify complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
