Role Overview

The Workday Senior Specialist Integration is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining seamless integrations between Workday and internal/external systems. This role ensures data accuracy, system interoperability, and supports HR, Finance, and IT teams in optimizing business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development

Build and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect

Develop custom reports, data extracts, and transformation logic using XML, XSLT, and JSON

Utilize Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST) and APIs for real-time data exchange

System Optimization

Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution

Perform regular audits and validations to maintain data integrity

Stay current with Workday releases and assess impact on existing integrations

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to gather requirements

Translate business needs into technical specifications

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain detailed documentation of integration architecture and data flows

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field

5+ years of experience in Workday integrations, including Workday Studio and EIB

Strong understanding of HR and Finance business processes

Proficiency in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and middleware platforms

Workday Integration certification preferred
