Role Summary
We are looking for a driven Workday Sales / Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in India. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle across Workday services and solutions (implementation, enhancements, integrations, testing and managed services), build a high-quality pipeline, and close new logos while expanding strategic accounts.
This is a hybrid role in Bangalore with regular client engagement and close collaboration with pre-sales and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solutioning, proposals, negotiation and closure.
Build and manage a healthy pipeline across target accounts and industries; meet quarterly targets.
Position Scrumconnect's Workday capabilities across implementation, AMS/support, integrations and advisory services.
Develop account plans for strategic customers and identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
Client Engagement & Solutioning
Lead discovery with HR, Finance and IT stakeholders to understand priorities and shape a value-led solution.
Partner with solution architects and delivery leaders to define scope, estimates, commercials and delivery approach.
Create and present proposals and executive-ready value cases; support RFP/RFI responses and contracting.
Partnerships & Market Development
Work with alliance partners (including Workday ecosystem partners where applicable) to generate and convert opportunities.
Represent Scrumconnect at relevant industry events, webinars and customer forums to build credibility.
Track market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to refine messaging and sales plays.
Forecasting & Governance
Maintain accurate opportunity and forecast data in the CRM; provide weekly pipeline and risk updates.
Ensure compliant, well-governed sales processes, including documentation, approvals and handover into delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
612+ years of experience in enterprise software/SaaS sales or IT services business development.
Proven track record of building pipeline and closing mid-to-large deals.
Workday knowledge (HCM, Finance, Payroll, Adaptive Planning, Integrations, AMS) or strong ERP/HCM background with ability to ramp quickly.
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management and commercial negotiation capability.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience selling Workday services at a Workday partner or system integrator.
Experience with RFP-led enterprise procurement and multi-stakeholder deal cycles.
MBA or equivalent business qualification (preferred, not mandatory).

Closed wins (implementation and/or AMS) and expansion into repeatable, multi-tower engagements.
Strong internal sales rhythm with clear handover into delivery execution.
