Workday Release Management & Security Expert

• Plan and coordinate Workday releases, including testing, approvals, deployment, and checks after implementation.
• Manage change requests and assess their impact on security, reports, and business processes.
• Configure and maintain security groups, user roles, domain security, and business process security.
• Review user access, resolve access issues, and remove inappropriate permissions.
• Create and maintain Workday reports, calculated fields, prompts, and filters.
• Investigate reporting errors, data discrepancies, and production issues.
• Maintain documentation, testing records, and evidence for audits.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Workday release/change management, security administration, reporting, and production support.
• Knowledge of Workday security groups, domain policies, and business process security policies.
• Experience with regression testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment validation.
• Knowledge of Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, calculated fields, and data sources, including indexed data sources.
• Familiarity with Excel, ticketing tools, and change-management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
