Trintech is an award winning AI-driven Fintech SaaS organsation transforming the way finance teams operate and we're seeking a Workday Systems & Integration Analyst to play a critical role in supporting and enhancing Trintech's global Workday platform across Human Capital Management (HCM), Financials (FINS), and Professional Services Automation (PSA). This role combines functional configuration expertise with strong integration and data capabilities. The analyst will support end-to-end system processes spanning workforce management, financial accounting, and project-based operations. The position is responsible for configuration, integrations, reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement across enterprise systems.

We are seeking a proactive self-starter who can work independently, manage cross-functional priorities, and identify opportunities to optimize business processes through Workday capabilities. This is a non-customer-facing role that partners closely with HR, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, IT, and Professional Services teams within a global operating model.

What You'll Do

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Workday Configuration & Functional Support
  • HCM
    • Maintain security roles and condition rules.
    • Support merit, bonus, and performance cycles.
    • Maintain supervisory organizations, job structures, compensation frameworks, and business process configurations.
    • Configure and maintain Core HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Performance, Talent, and Learning.

  • Financials (FINS)
    • Support audit and compliance requirements, including internal controls.
    • Partner with Finance during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
    • Configure and maintain worktags, ledgers, posting rules, and financial business processes.
    • Support Financial Accounting (GL), Procurement, Expenses, Banking & Settlements, Revenue Management, and Financial Reporting.

  • Professional Services Automation (PSA)
    • Partner with Services Operations and Finance to improve visibility into project margin and utilization.
    • Ensure alignment between project financials and general ledger reporting.
    • Support project costing, project hierarchies, and financial tracking structures.
    • Configure and maintain Projects, Billing, Revenue Recognition, and Resource Management.

  • Integrations & Technical Support
    • Design, configure, and support Workday integrations (inbound and outbound) across HCM, FINS, and PSA.
    • Support integrations using:
    • Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • Middleware platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi or similar)
    • Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures; perform root cause analysis (RCA).
    • Ensure data consistency between Workday and external systems (e.g., payroll, CRM, banking platforms, time systems).
    • Support API orchestration, transformation logic, and data mapping.
    • Maintain technical documentation, API contracts, and integration design specifications.

  • Data Management & Governance
    • Maintain high standards of data accuracy across workforce, financial, and project data.
    • Execute EIB uploads and mass updates with strong controls.
    • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations across HCM, Financials, and PSA modules.
    • Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, data privacy requirements, and financial controls.
    • Support SOX compliance activities where applicable.

  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports across HCM, Financials, and PSA.
    • Develop calculated fields, composite reports, matrix reports, and dashboards.
    • Support financial and operational reporting including:
    • Headcount and workforce analytics
    • Revenue and expense reporting
    • Project margin and utilization
    • Cost center and budget analysis
    • Contribute to advanced analytics initiatives using Workday Prism Analytics (where applicable).
    • Ensure reporting aligns with enterprise data governance standards.

  • Release Management & Continuous Improvement
    • Support Workday bi-annual releases by:
    • Reviewing new functionality
    • Performing regression testing
    • Assessing impact across HCM, FINS, and PSA
    • Manage configuration and enhancement requests from intake through deployment.
    • Identify automation and optimization opportunities across enterprise processes.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, integrations, and testing protocols.
    • Contribute to enterprise systems roadmap planning.
Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of Workday experience, including:
  • Hands-on HCM configuration
  • Exposure to Financials and/or PSA
  • Integration support or development
  • Experience working in a global enterprise environment preferred.
