Summary role description:

Hiring a Workday Integration Lead for the Global Competency Centre of a global logistics leader driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Role details:

  • Title / Designation:Workday Integration Lead
  • Location:Gurgaon
  • Experience: 10 to 16 years

Role & responsibilities:

  • Own the Workday integration portfolio across HCM, Finance, Adaptive, and Payroll including intake, prioritization, roadmap, and delivery.
  • Lead the end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements and design to build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Act as the SME for Workday integration tools and patterns (EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, RaaS, Web Services).
  • Define and enforce integration standards including naming conventions, security, error handling, logging, documentation, and change control.
  • Design and manage inbound/outbound integrations (files, APIs, middleware), including scheduling, orchestration, monitoring, and SLA management.
  • Ensure secure connectivity, data quality, and system reliability while supporting testing, release management, and production issue resolution.

Candidate requirements:


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of integration experience, including 5+ years in Workday integrations (build and support).
  • Experience delivering complex integrations and supporting Workday implementations or major expansions.
  • Hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core/Cloud Connectors, and RaaS.
  • Knowledge of Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML/JSON, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Experience with SFTP, CSV/XML files, encryption/PGP, and certificate management.
  • Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Tibco).
  • Strong troubleshooting, integration design, and communication skills Prism Analytics experience is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Integration certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Payroll, Benefits, and Tax integrations (e.g., ADP, banks, carriers).
  • Knowledge of Workday integration security (ISU/ISC, domain, BP security).
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM, Financials, and Payroll data structures.
  • Experience in global/multi-country environments logistics industry experience is a a plus.
